Doctor Steve Stensland grew up in Richmond and decided to stay close by. He graduated from Virginia Tech and attended dental school at the Medical College of Virginia (The VCU Med School). Originally brought to Williamsburg by a larger practice, Steve decided to move into his own private practice, primarily because he wanted a smaller and more personal office setting and a desire to more directly control his own future.
He chose New Town for Stensland Dental Studio for many reasons but the overriding one was he felt it was the “economic capital of Williamsburg”. He felt it was a wonderful place to congregate, very convenient and practical. His practice performs a broad and comprehensive range of general (including pediatric) dentistry and has been voted “Best of” in many surveys.
Stensland also stands out in its commitment to the Williamsburg community. They support a myriad of social and service activities and causes some of which are Beyond Boobs, Child Protective Services, Heritage Humane Society along with many many others. They actively support and participate in a number of New Town events such as Night Out, Chalkfest and Brewfest. Finally, they are active in promoting other local businesses through social media and other means.
Doctor Stensland and his team are very happy in New Town but he is concerned about businesses periodically closing. He would prefer to see expansion into existing space rather than more new construction with many storefronts still vacant. We are happy and honored to have Stensland Dental Studio in New Town as neighbors. Much more can be found on their comprehensive website at: https://www.mywilliamsburgdentist.com/
